A Sunflower Mini Session - Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, PA
I wanted to share a delightful and impromptu photo session we had at Shady Brook Farm recently. We arrived a bit late in the evening, just as they had stopped the wagon rides to the sunflower patch for the day. Initially, it seemed like a setback, but sometimes the best moments come from unexpected changes. Luckily, we discovered a smaller sunflower patch within walking distance, and we decided to pivot our plans and hold the photo shoot there.
Despite having only about 15 minutes, the golden hour light was mwah – absolutely perfect for capturing beautiful moments. The soft, warm sunlight bathed everything in a magical glow, making the entire scene look straight out of a fairytale. The girls had a blast running between the rows of sunflowers, and we captured some truly heartwarming shots of them playing and posing together.
Capturing the Love and Joy
What made this session truly special was the bond between the mom and her daughters. Even with the limited time, we managed to capture the love and connection they share. The girls' individual personalities shone through in every photo – from playful grins to tender moments with their mom.
